Our Process
We believe that designing your dream space involves a collaborative effort between our experienced team and you, our valued clients. At Walden's Kitchen Centre, our shop specializes in creating unique, completely custom-designed kitchens to your specifications, giving you total control over the design, functionality, and overall look and feel of the space. With our expertise as cabinet makers, we understand the importance of quality construction, a timeless design, and efficiency in any space. We recommend starting the process at least six months before your preferred installation date.

Initial Consultation
At Walden's Kitchen Centre, we know that every client is unique, which is why our initial consultation is so important. During our first meeting, we’ll sit down with you to discuss your lifestyle, functionality requirements, and the type of designs you like. We'll review your plans or take detailed measurements in your home, discuss and advise on appliances, and gain a sense of budgets and timelines. With your style in mind, we'll work with you to create a custom design solution that exceeds your expectations.

Design Presentation Package
Our Design Presentation Package is the perfect solution to help bring your dream space to life. We start by creating a 3D design concept that aligns with your lifestyle and inspiration. Then, we arrange the materials that we have selected and present them to you in a flat-lay. During this step, we'll work together to ensure our design is reflective of your vision while we finalize the design materials, and budget. We understand this step may take some time, but we're committed to delivering exceptional results.

Final Design and Budget Review Meeting
At our Final Meeting, we take care of the finishing touches. We'll review the final drawings with you and make revisions, if necessary. Once everything is approved, we'll confirm the appliances and finishes, and our team will take precise site measurements. With the signed contract and 50% deposit, we’ll start the production process. You can trust us to deliver high-quality cabinetry that you'll love.

Delivery of Cabinetry
When it comes to delivery, we ensure that your new cabinetry arrives on time. Just make sure that all rough-ins, renovations, flooring, and painting are finished before we arrive. A second payment of 40% is due upon delivery of the cabinetry. It is necessary to arrange easy access to the installation site throughout the entire delivery and installation process.

Professional Installation
Depending on the size and location of your project, our installation times may vary. However, we usually complete the installation in two stages. During the first stage, we install the base units for countertop templates. We'll also need to have sinks, faucets, and cooktops or any other item that interferes with countertops on site for the template. Any cabinetry item that needs tweaking will be addressed at the shop and will be installed during the second stage.

Completion
We know that the installation process can be daunting, but our team is here to make it creative, exciting, and stress-free. After the cabinets are installed, the final payment is due. It is then time to coordinate with your plumber to hook up the sink and dishwasher after the counter tops have been installed. The appliance installer can install the appliances and the backsplash can be installed. Your new kitchen will be a sight to behold!
